International students from Myanmar at ZIME have arrived in Baiyang Village, Anji County, Huzhou City, to conduct a survey on the beautiful countryside and kick off their summer social practice. For these students, who are new to China and full of curiosity and longing for Chinese rural areas, the picturesque scenery of Baiyang Village has undoubtedly opened a brand-new window for them.
Baiyang Village has created the "Spring Breeze·Baiyang" brand for rural revitalization, focusing on "tourism + homestays" and "tourism + study tours". It has launched projects including shared livable projects, Spring Breeze Farm, and resettlement area projects. These efforts have transformed Baiyang Village from a backward village to a rapidly developing one. In April of this year, Baiyang Village was selected as one of the second batch of future rural creation sites in Zhejiang Province.

On site visits, the dream of rural revitalization sets sail
International students set foot on Anji Baiyang and immerse themselves in the vivid practice of the "Two Mountains" concept, experiencing firsthand the magnificent transformation from "green mountains and clear waters to golden mountains and silver mountains". In the field classroom of the "Million Project", not only did I learn the harmonious coexistence of ecological governance and economic development, but I also personally participated in the efforts of rural revitalization. Chunfeng (Spring Breeze) Homestay is an officially recommended rural elegant residence, located in the midst of green mountains and rivers, adjacent to nature and accompanied by culture. The homestay is built along the mountain and features an infinity pool, shared space, underground bar, and more. Its design cleverly blends modern and rural elements, retaining traditional charm while maintaining modern comfort, creating a warm home for travelers.

As a shining pearl of rural revitalization, Chunfeng (Spring Breeze) Baiyang not only provides high-quality accommodation experience, but also is committed to inheriting local traditional culture, holding characteristic activities, and allowing tourists to enjoy the beauty of nature while deeply understanding rural customs. The bamboo weaving craftsmanship, handmade tea making, and rich rice wine production in Baiyang Village are not only the crystallization of the villagers' wisdom, but also important carriers of rural culture, which deeply shock and admire international students。

In the grand blueprint of shared prosperity, the elderly and young people are two indispensable groups. International students visit the key project of Baiyang Village - the Tianyuan Kindergarten Complex. This kindergarten stands by the rice paddies, designed to integrate nature and modern educational concepts. The internal space not only meets the needs of children's growth, but also emphasizes the enlightenment of natural education. The countryside is the best place for growth, and the land is the greatest source of strength.
International students experienced a "pastoral course" with great interest. They also visited the "Happiness Apartment" project in Baiyang Village, which provides a safe and comfortable residence for elderly people living alone. It not only has complete facilities, but also reflects warm humanistic care. This community-based care is not limited to infrastructure, but also includes respect and care for the dignity of the elderly, truly realizing the beautiful vision of having a sense of security in old age.

Next, the international students experienced making plant rubbings. The teacher explains the origin and development process of plant printing techniques, allowing everyone to experience how to capture the brilliant moments of nature through simple pressing and color blending on delicate fabrics, giving every leaf and flower eternal life. Look, the leaf I selected has clear and visible veins, and the effect of rubbing is simply stunning! "International student Dili excitedly displayed her work. Everyone walked and watched, exchanged experiences, and practiced with their own hands. Every press felt like an intimate conversation with nature. Every corner of the experience journey is full of surprises. International students not only immerse themselves in the artistic ocean of plant printing, but also use their phones to record the beauty of rural life, showcasing the vitality and vigor of life.

On that day, in the cultural hall of Baiyang Village, international students from School of International Education performed the recitation work "Reading China" with passionate and full enthusiasm, and solemnly shouted out the heartfelt words "China, I love you”. During their visits between villages, international students witnessed firsthand the vivid practice of beautiful rural areas under the Two Mountains Theory. International student AUNG KYAW MOE exclaimed, "The scenery of Baiyang Village is so beautiful, and the villagers' lives are so comfortable. The Chinese countryside is really a great 'city'.

The shared book bar established in Baiyang Village offers a wide variety of books, including traditional classics and modern new knowledge. It not only showcases the profound accumulation of rural culture, but also reflects the close connection between rural areas and modern society. The villagers hereby introduced the development blueprint of Baiyang Village, emphasizing the core concept of "daring to think, daring to do, and daring to do". This is not only a vivid portrayal of Baiyang Village's enterprising spirit and courage to explore, but also a solid foundation for it as a benchmark for rural revitalization. This exchange has filled the international students with longing and admiration for the future of Baiyang Village, and deeply felt the vigorous vitality and infinite possibilities of China's rural areas in the process of modernization.
