The International Volunteer Service Team is a student club that enables college students to step into society and interact with it during their spare time. In order to enrich the cultural life of international students and allow them to experience Chinese traditional folk customs, as the Lunar New Year was approaching, the School of International Education hosted the 2020 New Year Dumpling Banquet for international students.

Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Party and Promoting the Spirit of Lei Feng

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party and promote the spirit of Lei Feng, which inspires selfless dedication and encourages students of the School of International Education to actively engage in volunteer services, our school launched the " Volunteer Service Month: Learn from Lei Feng " activity in March and May.

Respecting the elderly and caring for the young is a traditional virtue of the Chinese nation.

In order to strengthen the ideological and moral construction of college students, promote the traditional virtue of respecting the elderly among the Chinese people, and strive to create a harmonious social atmosphere, the School of International Education carried out the care-for-the-elderly activity on May 14, 2021.

Warm Winter Action —— “Cozy Companionship through Sending Clothing”

In response to the call of the university’s Youth League Committee and to further strengthen the school’s support for students in financial difficulty, ensuring that every economically disadvantaged student can spend a warm winter, the School of International Education held a series of Warm Winter Action activities on November 2, 2021. These activities included sending love-filled cotton quilts to students in financial difficulty.

Publicity Campaign on Garbage Classification

In order to effectively publicize knowledge about garbage classification and further promote the concept of garbage classification into people’s hearts, on December 6, 2021, the School of International Education organized volunteers to carry out a door-to-door publicity campaign on garbage classification. The volunteers distributed leaflets on garbage classification to residents to promote their understanding.

In order to provide the people with high-quality and considerate services and to earnestly and deeply carry out the practical activity of “Doing Practical Things for the Public,” the Chunhui Social Work Station launched the public welfare service activity of“Passing on Love and Taking Action Together.”

On May 7, 2022, the School of International Education carried out a disinfection action targeting viruses in student dormitories, eliminating potential risks and creating a safe dormitory environment for International students.
