On September 24, 2021, the first China-ASEAN Future Star Innovation and Entrepreneurship Camp concluded in Guiyang. This camp was held to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the China-ASEAN dialogue relations and was jointly organized by the China Education Association for International Exchange and the China-ASEAN Center under the guidance of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department of the Ministry of Education. The team from our School of International Education, named "KenRui Team," was honored with the title of "Double Innovation Star Team" at this camp.

The competition was jointly organized by the China Education Association for International Exchange and the China-ASEAN Center. With the educational vision of integrating knowledge and action and jointly building a sustainable development cooperation, the competition invited 12 teams of students from vocational colleges in China and ASEAN countries. Focusing on the theme of innovation and entrepreneurship, the competition aimed to facilitate skill exchanges, showcase the achievements in talent cultivation from both sides, promote mutual understanding, and advance the construction of a China-ASEAN vocational education community. The event was broadcast both offline and online to audiences in China and the ten ASEAN countries.

At the event, Liu Limin, President of the China Education Association for International Exchange and former Vice Minister of Education, Liu Jin, Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange of the Ministry of Education, Chen Dehai, Secretary-General of the China-ASEAN Center, and Wang Yuyi, Secretary-General of the China Education Association for International Exchange, presided over the flag presentation ceremony for the competition.

Twelve participating teams, each comprising five students from China and ASEAN countries, showcased their innovation and entrepreneurship projects on four themes: cultural creativity, industrial innovation, business entrepreneurship, and corporate support. The teams presented their projects on-site, and experts from the China-ASEAN Center, educational institutions, and enterprises provided constructive feedback.

Our School encourages students to actively participate in and practice innovation and entrepreneurship projects, and we also strengthen the cultivation and incubation of these projects. Since the competition was launched in May, students and teachers have worked together to improve the projects through multiple rounds of refinement and expert reviews, enhancing their quality. During the competition, our students demonstrated a positive spirit, strong team awareness, and a sense of organizational honor.

The "KenRui Team" from our school has launched the " Live Streaming Entrepreneurship for peer Chinese and International Students" project, which targets the ASEAN market and utilizes the Shopee platform. The project recruits international students from Belt and Road countries as brand ambassadors and employs three major marketing channels: cross-border e-commerce, Taobao, and offline sales. By leveraging Shopee Live for real-time streaming, the project aims to increase product sales and expand both domestic and international markets. Through cross-border e-commerce platforms, the project radiates to countries along the Belt and Road, enabling Chinese and international university students to engage in physical entrepreneurship while promoting cross-cultural exchanges and the circulation of international trade products among multiple countries.

The competition fully demonstrated the spirit of unity and positive attitude of our students. It showcased the vibrant campus culture and the unique talents of our students. It also highlighted the internationalization of our university's educational approach, its distinctive academic features, and its encouragement and support for student innovation and entrepreneurship projects.
