Application Steps for International Students at Zhejiang Polytechnic University of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (ZUME):

1.Download the Application Forms:

Download the Application Form and the Foreigner Physical Examination Record Form (required for residence permits) from the official website[URL here].

Note: If your stay is less than six months, a physical examination is not required.

2.Complete the Forms:

Fill out the relevant information on the forms truthfully and in accordance with the requirements.

3.Submit the Required Documents:

Send the completed forms and any other required documents to sunyansong@zume.edu.cn.

5.Admission Process:

The School of International Education at ZUME will review your application. Upon approval, we will contact you via email or phone to confirm and then send you the Admission Notice, which includes the "Visa Application Form for Foreign Students in China" (JW202 form).

6.Visa Application:

Apply for the study visa (X visa) at the Chinese embassy or consulate in your country. You will need the JW202 form, physical examination form, and other relevant materials.

Students studying for less than half a year may apply for an F visa.

7.Registration and Payment:

Applicants must arrive at ZUME and complete the registration process before the deadline. Pay the required registration fees and tuition during this time.

8.Arrival Arrangements:

For first-time arrivals in Hangzhou, ZUME will provide pick-up service. You must inform the International Education Department of your flight number, train number, and arrival time at least 7 days in advance via email or fax.
